Spencer Driedger

Spencer’s background in Neonatal Nursing combined with her passion and education in holistic nutrition is the birth place for Earth to Mamma. With a decade of experience as a Neonatal RN, Spencer has supported a wide range of demographics of new moms and babies in the transition to motherhood and life. With experience in various communities across Alberta and British Columbia, she has gained insight into the specific nutritional and lifestyle needs during pregnancy and postpartum to support optimal health of mom and baby.

Her business Earth to Mamma originated in 2010 as a nursing student and has evolved as Spencer broadened her knowledge in natural health and nutrition while studying at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Vancouver. Today, Earth to Mamma provides private chef and meal delivery services, alongside the education platform focused on pregnancy, postpartum and baby health.

Spencers philosophy stems from traditional knowledge of ‘food as medicine’, eating and growing sustainably, and the importance of a strong community. This is balanced with a  great respect to the modern world of medicine through her career as an RN.

Spencer believes that to live a vibrant life, is to eat well and have a strong community surrounding us and that the best doctors are food, water, sun, fresh air, rest, movement and community.
