Whether you are recovering from an injury, dealing with an area of persistant pain, or seeking a space to let your nervous system settle, Sara is glad to be a part of your journey.
Through her own experience with massage, she knows how impactful a treatment can be, not only for our body, but for our overall well being. Her intention is to always be curious and adaptable in my approach, and to find the treatment that bests suits you. The question that guides her in practice is “how can I best support the person who has shown up in my treatment room today?”. Included in this is the recognition that needs and goals may change from treatment to treatment.
The human body is wonderfully complex and incredibly resilient, and we are learning more and more about the impacts of massage therapy on it each year. Sara’s practice is informed by current research around pain science and nervous system regulation - she is passionate about her education regarding these topics.
Sara’s hope is that this space can be a place to learn that our bodies are not something that need to be “fixed”, but rather supported. Her goal is that you leave The Collective feeling validated and empowered.
Please be advised at this time Sara does not direct bill any 3rd party insurers, including ICBC and WSBC.
